Speed the Light
The concept is simple: we give so others can speed the light of the gospel to a world in darkness. This is accomplished by providing essential transportation and creative communication equipment for missionary evangelism. Through modern transportation, radio, television, the printed word, and equipment for mass evangelism, our missionaries can better fulfill the Great Commission.
RESOURCES
DREAM DAY
The heart behind Dream Day (January 22) is that youth groups would dedicate a service to dream and pray about what God would have them do for Speed the Light this year.
Our team has put together adaptable resources to provide you with everything you need to facilitate your Dream Day service. You will find screen media, youth group goal posters, individual student goal cards, and social media graphics on the page.
We can’t wait to see what God is going to do this year through Kansas students, leaders, and churches as we seek to be the hands and feet of Jesus in a world that desperately needs him.
Speed the Light Sunday
National Speed the Light Sunday is October 19, 2025 (but you can choose any Sunday to take an STL offering!) We believe setting aside one Sunday a year to share about the mission of STL with your church is incredibly important.
Speed the Light is a student-led movement, but it’s not limited to students. Give the adults in your church the opportunity to join your students in generously giving to fund missions projects around the world and watch what God can do through your church!
Join us and let’s finish strong for STL and help us complete our remaining 2024 project before December 15:
