YTH CON is a spiritually-focused weekend designed to engage, encourage, and equip Kansas students and leaders. Each service will challenge us to become true followers of Jesus by fully engaging in worship, the Word, and the altar. Our desire is that every person will leave feeling encouraged by the services and times of connection and fun! Our prayer is that we will equip the next generation to walk boldly in the light (Matt. 5:14-16).

Eric Hoffman has been the national Speed the Light Director since 2018. Prior to coming to the national office, he served as a youth pastor and then as the DYD of Illinois. Eric has a passion for equipping the next generation to pursue missional generosity. During his time as the national STL Director, Next Gen Missions giving has been at an all-time high. Eric and his incredible wife, Liz, have three children. He is unfortunately a Steelers fan (but we’ll forgive him for that.) We can’t wait to have him back in Kansas this year!

Hannah Peoples is the Kansas District Youth Director. She and her husband, Josh, were born and raised in Kansas and grew up attending KYM events. Prior to coming to the network office, they served for 15 years at Mission Hill Church in Topeka where they held volunteer, staff, and lead pastor roles. Hannah has been in youth ministry for over 10 years and is passionate about helping students and leaders become all God created them to be. She loves the Denver Broncos, anything caffeinated, and spending time outdoors.

If you were at High School Camp this summer, then you know how incredible the SAGU Worship team is! The team is made up of college students from across the U.S. They are anointed worship leaders whose hearts are to help others connect to God through music. We can’t wait to have them lead us for all three services at YTH CON!
